carburetor on B-motor??!!
hey honda tech this is something i want to do just for ***** a giggles i want to put a carburetor on a b18b1 i thought it would be cool and different to have the setup on a little car wire tuck it and maybe put it in a few shows. just something to have fun with. so please dont bust my ***** on this. thanks
retrofitting carburetion may not be cool enough though.. dual side-draft carbs and setting it up to run without an alternator... that would be cool and impressive! maybe some sport bike carbs.
Easy to find info. on Weber set-ups. Plenty of people have done that.
I've only seen 1 B-series with a traditional 4150 style carb on it. They used a sheet metal plenum with a 4150 adapter welded to the top.
Mechanical fuel injection would be way cooler (IMHO). And different. Carburetors suck.

thanks i have herd of maybe CBR carbs on a b motor not sure if there is an actual set up for it or if i would have to fab someting. if any one ever comes across come pics post here for me that would be awesome
The CBR throttle body is usually used to build home made ITB, here is a link. As far as keeping the carb setup I have no clue tho, but id like to read about it if someone make it happen. I used to go offroading with a guy with a suzuki samurail and harley carb on it. https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/my-frankenstein-home-made-itb-page-2794474/
