more than likely the ecu red the fresh air from the engine bay and started dumping alot of fuel and fowled out the plugs. If its gor fuel and spark, first change the plugs and check the timming.

not even if the plugs are fouled?
it seems like possible if not likely since it was reading the air in the engine bay and not in the exhaust mani.
