Default car wont start

i have a 96 civic hb with a type r engine inside. it was running fine when we put the engine in but it overheated a little and had a minor oil leak. I fixed both of the problems and when I tried to start it again it would not start. It would crank but not start.... Now i dont know what is wrong. Any opinions would help... thx

Need more info, does the car turn over? If the car turns over, are you getting spark? Again, need more info.

Your engine may be flooded assuming you've tried everything else. Pull a spark-plug out if tip is wet and smells like gas remove all plugs and allow them to dry. After the plugs have dried re-install plugs and try to start her again.
Good luck

the car doesn't turn over and it doesn't sound like it has spark.
i'm pretty sure it has enough gas getting to it

Heres how to check for spark...

Pull the plug out, stick a screwdriver in the plug, lay the screwdriver handle on something, make sure the metal part of the screwdriver makes contact with plug, make sure metal part of screwdriver is close do something that is metal under the hood. Then, crank the engine and look for spark.

If you're getting spark, check to see if you're getting fuel. Pull fuel line off, is the line pressurized?
