Car Won't Start....
Well we just replaced the head, got everything hooked up. Got rid of the 2 CEL's it was throwing (15, and 41). But car still won't start. I have NGK laser platinum plugs (not pre-gapped and I haven't adjusted the gap.) New, wires, etc. Car acts like it wants to start but it won't. Any Ideas?
BTW: This is a 1992 Prelude Si.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

hey just like fmaxtrubochic said i am the friend that had the same problem, what is your compression? check your timing and the distributer can go on two ways, the correct way which is pointing to number one wire, or 180 degrees opposite of the number one. also make sure you are definatly on the intake with the valves not the exhaust when you go to TDC the cam and the crank. i hope this helps you out, but let me know what your compression is through the Im or thread it, let me know if you need anything else and good luck gloria

make sure you put some dielectric grease into the boot.
what do you mean it wants to start.
can you describe in more detail?</TD></TR></TABLE>
It turns and turns and turns, and then it will start, then die like a half second later.
Based on all your replies. I'm going to concentrate on getting the timing correct. Then if it still won't start, diagnose problems from there.
Thanks again

Don't worry about checking this, it is physically imposible to set a Honda distributor 180deg off.
Did you mark the timing belt and cam gears before you pulled the belt off? On those engines, I can almost gaurantee one of the cam gears jumped a tooth unless you marked it first. Belts on those cars can be a pain to line up properly.
