all i get is a clicking sound from the starter. tried using battery charger - still clicking. tried replacing starter - still clicking. also my tach is sputtering from 600-1000rpms when i am trying to start it. i know i have an electrical problem and it isnt my battery or my starter. i checked all of my fuses and they are all good. need help!

 

you should have the battery tested to make sure it is good and then go from their.

 

check the battery first, then start looking for loose, or corroded connections at both the starter and battery. dont forget that the neg connection for a starter is where it mounts to the trans so it has to be clean as well. then post back up
