I've got a b20b swap in an eg 4dr. The car sometimes hesitates or stumbles, and then it seems like i smell gasoline right afterwards. it also seems a lot worse when it rains out for some reason, so it might be more than one thing but im not sure. its been doing this for a while, but i've just never addressed the problem. could it be something as little as a fuel filter? help me please! im trying to sell the car soon but want it running right...

sounds like a spark problem. is it stock ignition? my guess is, its stumbling because of no spark and you smell unburned gas coming out of the tailpipe.

Usually cars with ignition problems tend to run worse in moist conditions, because the moisture arcs out the wires.

Check your spark plugs and wires

thanks guys, i never wouldve thought about the ignition. i'll replace the plugs n wires then get back to ya.

oh yeah, its the stock ignition

if not plugs and **** fuel filter is a possibility
