Default Car Stalls, CEL light, but weird problem HELP!!

tell me what you guys think,

i think a loose conect on somewhere but i dont know what it could be. when ever i go over a bump.. the car looses power. cel light comes on.. if i lift my foot off the gas.. the cel light goes away, and the revs die down, i step on the gas, the cel light comes on and the car will not rev higher. while teh car is moving, i restart the car and it runs fine.. until it hits anotehr bump then i gotta do the same thign over again.. but whnever the car starts up again. it idles fine. so i know the belt isnt jumping.

just 5 mins ago.. i was idling teh car tryign to figure out what happend.. and then it died, battery light comes on. start teh car up and its fine.. wtf? i checked the CEL.. and there's no code.. this is weird

my car is obd1, running hondata s200 with a p28, lsvtec with b16 distrib. original stock fuel pump and fuel filter..

damn, you have some weird bugs to work out! I would definetly start @ the ECU play with the wires there..see what it does...is your ECU bolted down? If its not then it's moving when you hit the bumps causing a connector to lose continuity...but could be anywhere...

figured it out!! turned out to be a Map sensor problem. Tried another map sensor but it didnt fix the problem. after talking to a friend, we figured it might be my SFC vtec controller.

Turns out that the way it sends more fuel is by sending a higher voltage map sensor reading to fool it into adding more fuel. i think anything more than 4.1 volts, the Map goes haywire, and for some reasone i was either getting a short, have a bad ground on the SFC, or it's just wearing out.

Since i run Hondata, i have no need for an SFC, so i just shut it off. so now its disabled, and so far so good :thumbup
