car stalling out?

car stalling out?
when i start my car if i dont hold the gas it will drop to nothing and stall out..
it stays like this until i get on it for a little bit then it will idle normal..
i can drive and it will be fine...then if i get on it some more for a little the car while fluctuate
weird problem..
... any1 have any ideas?
