Default car shakes when accelerating/making right turns...

when accelerating, my car starts to shake like i'm hitting small potholes in the road. The steering wheel doesnt really shake, I feel it more at the bottom of my feet. It feels worse when im making right turns, and doesnt really do it when making left turns.

UPDATE 4/28:
-changed my passenger side axle
-replaced passenger side inner tie rod
-rebalanced tires
-got an alignment

...and still nothing...I just bought a driver side axle and i'm gonna see if this helps...

Tie rod end on the right and ball joint on the left. The up and down motion you were talking about checks the play in the lower ball joints, and you can move it in the slightest bit, that will produce a vibration due to the joint not being 'tight'

also check the axle, if it is alittle broken, it will do that and also check if the axel nut is in tight

could blown shocks have anything to do with it?

a blown shock wont do anything but mat that corner sag, and pull torwards that direction. If youve got a blown shock, its obvious. But when you can move the tire on the hub back and forth like that, its a ball joint. And since most honda ive worked on only have a lower balljoint, that would be my first guess. Maybe im wrong, but the hondas ive seen, mine included only have 1 balljoint per side.

6 and 12 sounds like balljoint.
3 and 9 is tie rod, it could be the inner or outer. Most likely inner.

Take off the tire and move it on the 3 and 9. You will see the rod go in and out of the boot or the hub will move at the outer tie rod mount.

That will answer your question as to which it is.

I have a pass side outer tie rod NIB for a 5th gen civic. If u need it and it fits your application. let me know.

Reaally? because a torn boot just sprays grease everhwere and allows contaminents into the axle. What could it possibley harm?

Also, unlikely, but are the tires still round? Mine would do this all the time, and it turned out to be a bulging tire. Which exploded violently on the highway. Yours doens't sound like that since i'ts just under acclereation turning, but something to look out for.

Check the play in the inner axle joint. Could be that or maybe not?

I changed the driver side axle and it kinda fixed the problem. It still shakes but really not that violent. Its probably time to replace my ball joints too.

Dunlop FM901's = very grippy tires
