Just put my rebulit b18c1 back into my del sol that we did an engine harness tuck, and brake line tuck on.

The problem Im having is, the car is running like garbage. When I try and drive it it feels like its missing really bad and has no power.

After warming up the car was throwing a check engine light, which I checked and it was 23, knock sensor. Well I thought that my knock sensor was bad a while ago and was supposed to be taken out of my ECU when it was chipped...but obviously it wasnt. I know once the knock sensor code is thrown that the car automatically retards itself 16 degrees...so I assumed this was my problem and took my ECU back to have it rechipped, getting rid of the knock sensor.

Now I am still having the same problem, just without a CEL. I need help, I cant figure out whats wrong. I had a pretty bad vacuum leak where the throttle body meets the intake manifold. Ive been told by different people that that would, or wouldnt make the car run the way it is. I though vacuum leaks would just make it idle shitty.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

 

oh and it has type r cams in it with adjustable cam gears that the guy who rebuilt my motor just set to 0....i dont know if that makes a difference or not?

 

Check your timing. Check your wiring

 

Sounds like your timing is off. How does the exhaust smell?
