Default Car overheats! help

alright so i have a huge headache from this problem.... to begin my car was fine one day and the next day it began to overheat. I have an 88 dx hatch with an obd1 ls that i rebuild and has all new parts including cooling system parts such as fan switch(on water outlet), thermostat and water pump. radiator is about one year old. so my car began to overheat one day and i noticed that my fan wasnt turning on. so i trouble shooted it and fuses were good, relay was good and fan was good. so i replaced switch. fan still would not turn on so i replaced relay. still fan not coming on. so then i ran fan all the time and car would still overheat. so i said hey maybe thermostat isnt working so i changed it. still the car over heats. so water pump is only 2 months old. could that be why car overheats or is it the radiator? it isnt headgasket because no sign of my car consuming coolant such as drop in coolant level or white smoke from exhaust. i need some help please

A few thoughts:

You need to check the cooling system pressure. A pressure test kit will adapt to the radiator mouth where the cap usually goes, whereafter the cooling system is pressurized. If it cannot maintain consistent pressure during the test, that would indicate a leak in the system. Pressure is important because it raises the boiling point of the coolant. Make sure the radiator is full to the mouth (don't open it while it's hot).

Overheating is not always caused by a malfunctioning cooling system. Check your ignition timing. If the ignition timing is too far retarded the engine will overheat even if your cooling system is working at maximum efficiency.

Also make sure the spark plug heat range is correct. Not all spark plugs are the same. Some transfer heat to the head better than others. Find out what the manufacturer recommends and use those exact spark plugs only.

The radiator fan only helps to maintain coolant temperature at low speeds when the air volume flowing thru the radiator is low. Running it nonstop will likely burn up the fan motor. Figure out your relay problems and don't connect the fan motor directly to the battery without some kind of resistor in place and a fuse.

I'm sure I've left out a few other things, but...

alright so let update you with everything that i have done, i have replaced relay, thermostat, temperature switch, fan switch, water pump, and have pressure tested cooling system. distributor is set in the middle, my idle is about 800 rpm +- 50.... car is still overheating.... i removed drained radiator and am going to check it.... everything i have used is duralast.... so like i said car still overheats with cooling fan running all the time... another thing i noticed is only my top radiator hose gets hot, but like i said i replaced all cooling system parts except for hoses, and radiator...and car still over heats....here is my other thread where has a more detailed description of what i have done https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/car-overheats-help-2599125/
...im about to give up....

I haven't read that you've measured temps with anything other than the factory gauge. Maybe you should double check. Only your top rad hose is supposed to be hot.

I would pull the pump and check it, it could just have been DOA, it does not sound like coolant is circulating.

Pull the thermostat, [run without one] if engine still overheats then you either have a bad pump or a blockage. 94

As I have learned many times, just because it is new, doesnt mean it is working.

On most Honda/Acura the rad fan control is pretty simple...
12V+ directly to fan, hot at all times.

Ground is supplied by the rad fan relay and the rad fan relay is controled by the "Engine Coolant Temperature Switch".

The rad fan relay is a SPST relay.
ECTS lead to #85 of relay, it supplies a ground.
12V+ to #86 of relay, hot in run, [switched]
Chassis ground to #30 of relay.
#87 of relay to rad fan ground. 94
