car idles like sh*t when i hit vtec

whenever i hit vtec my car starts to sputter and idle like ****. it was throwing a code but i fixed it and now the CEL is off. i am running an ls/vtec with a chipped p28.

anything will help!!!!!! thanx

checked your oil level???

yea the oil level is rite.

sounds to me like you've swapped the vtec oil pressure wire and the vtec solenoid wire. I've seen this exact same thing happen before and this has always been the fix.
