yeah so i finally got the engine in, found out that the noise i was hearing was because my wheel was about to fall off (yeah i'm retarded) but now it still has no *****. it pulls less like the proper number of horses and more like a handful of drunken confused chihuahuas. any suggestions? i noticed someone had the same prob with a teg and it was suggested that the timing was off. anybody got a step by step on checking that pref with some pics cause i still don't know what i'm doing. thanks guys.

story of my life. my timing was wrong. fixed as well as i can with the sun. too much light i can't see the timing marks!

 

Remember advanced timing is where you get your power to a certain point

hmmmm i think i might set it back to the more advanced point i had it at b4 i tried the timing light. that seemed to work better. of course i freed up a little power cause the tensioner pulley for the ac came off, and took the power steering belt with it. so it pulls stronger but it's a pita to turn
