Default Car is dying. What is happening to the electrics?

I went to summit to buy an O2 sensor simulator, I get home and hooked it up. My o2 sensor's wires ended up touching, and now my car has no speedo reading, it's idling very high (around 1,500 rpm) and if I touch my window buttons all of the lights go very dim. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on?

Well, since you caused a direct short on whatever circuit you are powering the simulator with, I'd start by checking the associated fuse(s).
