Default Car bogs at vtec all of a sudden?

The car was warm when driving, and recently the car bogs slightly at vtec, then hesitates to gain power for a few hundred rpm after that... Any ideas? The motor is a fresh rebuild 1500 miles and ran very strong until recently... other problems, car runs shittier than normal on a low tank of gas. Like I said for like over 1000 mioles, the car was smashing out... moderatley driven though???

Could be something minor before panicking, check and see if your vtec solenoid filter is clogged, if oil pressure is low vtec is affected. Also check your fuel filter and pcv valve. Also make sure your ls/vtec hardware lines are tightly fixed to your motor, and not leaking.
good luck.

The PCV valve is new, but what would I check on that anyhow. Is there any way to check the fuel filter w/out replacing it? What does a bad fuel filter look like? The motor isn't leaking anything...

Not sure what the problem was, bu tI switched out my sk2 chip 4800vtec to the vision 4500vtec engagement... checked all wires/fittings and ground as well and the car ran smoother and vtec engaged smoother. Not sure what did it, but it's running smoother... now I just need to fix the clutch... If it'snot one thign it's another.
