Car bogs, Innvovate WB
Hey folks,
Car: 1999 Civic VTI (SI)
I recently installed an XD16 wideband kit with LC1.
The sensor is not installed, still running standard o2 sensors, all ive done is spliced into the loom and powered up the gauge to be ready for the turbo installation.
Within around 5mins of driving/engine on it throws code 1 , o2 sensor.
I didnt think anything of it, i assumed it was the fact that i spliced into that wire that it had thrown the code, a few days later the car bogged down at around 2000 - 3000rpm, it would do it through a couple of shifts then it would drive fine again, with no problems through out the rest of the trip.
if i was to turn the car off and then on again, pull away then it would bog all over again until it clears.
Any ideas?

& how did you splice them?
If all you did was power up the gauge pod why did you go into the loom? The XD-16 gauge doesn't need to tap into any of the ECU wires.
Are you saying that you have the Innovate/Bosch WB O2 wires spliced in but do not have the sensor installed in your exhaust? If that is the case then having the WB O2 wired up and not in your exhaust, while still running your stock O2, would be the cuase of your problem.
