I was going to clean my air filter today but after I pulled back the inner fender lining, and tired to unscrew the metal ring that holds the air filter to the intake, it wouldn't unscrew. This was the first time I was removing the air filter since I got the AEM CAI installed.
Does the metal ring unscrew or is there something I'm doing wrong??? It looks to me that all I need to do is unscrew the screw on the ring that holds the air filter...
This stinks cause now I'm thinking about just removing the AEM CAI and putting my stock air box back on because of the troubling I'm having of removing the air filter.

this is just a hose clamp, you should be able to remove with slotted screwdriver or I think it's 8mm? Maybe somebody just overtightened it, it's not hard though.
