Cant get rid of Engine Ping
I would change those plugs and use some NGK's. Have you checked and adjusted your valves? If not, I would check that out as well. Maybe you have a lot of carbon built up on either the valves and/or the pistons.

Using the stock PR3, I didnt go with the NGK's cause the only plugs they had in stock were iridium plugs and they wanted 10-15bux a piece.

well if you are pinging id retard it even more, at least temporarily til you figure out what's up. also just to name another one of many possibilities, i remember someone saying that if you are using a smaller fuel rail (possibly a dseries?) then it can cause problems with fuel delivery.
I have the ign timing as far as it will go on the dizzy. Im also using a timing light. I dont think an oil catch can will fix the problem. I know its not the valves making the noise. How could the valve seals create detonation? Should I try some SeaFoam to rid of excess carbon?
