99 gsr integra obd2a

just finished changing the headgasket...got everything wired up correctly but it dies when u give it gas

start the car
it idles at like 1,000
surges between 1200-1000-800 rpm really lightly
give the car gas and it will rev up but only when you barely give it throttle
when u go to give the car full throttle the car dies completely

what the hell?

 

check your vacuum lines, maybe it could be that some may not be connected properly.there is also a oneway valve in the vaccum line coming from the brake booster that would make your car act the same way if it isnt in or pointing in the wrong direction.

 

can u explain a little better for me what u are talking about?

 

checked lines....switched map and tps sensors and it wouldnt start so i switched em back and it started but it wont idle for ****
