Default Can you Fool a CFS with a resister?

You would think that the magnet on the end creates some sort of voltage. Is it possable to fool it? I have a obd2 jdm motor that did not come with one. I have a usdm oil pump and sensor but tricking it would be a lot eaiser than installing it. Doea anyone know what the voltage is for that sensor? I am running a ex harness with a jdm b16b swap. Thanks

just use a JDM ecu or obd1 USDM chipped p28 w/ a conversion harness

I have a jdm ecu but when I go for emmissions it does not read all of the us sensors. I dont even know if it will read any sensors. I was going to use a usdm b16a ecu for the emissions test only. I have every sensor wired up to do so but this one.

you dont need the CFS to pass emissions.... a CFS wont make your car burn cleaner.

Yes I know but when you use a usdm ecu it throws a check engine light. You cant pass the test here unless the check engine light is off. They plug in a obd2 scanner to see if there are any codes. This is why I am looking to fool it.

its not a specific voltage its a series of pulses that will differ with engine speed. Good luck with fooling it i'd just install it.

I dont know if it will be able to pass obd2. I am not sure if they will be looking for the sensors that the JDM ecu does not have.
