Default Can you check for bent valves by doing a Compression test?

Will a compresson test tell you if you bend your valves? Thanks

Yes, if you bent a valve it's not sealing properly and you will lose compression from the poor seal...

yup, if yer compression is low, you can have a bent valve....among other things i'd assume...but if you have a bent valve you WILL have low compression...

shouldnt the compression be around 200psi or so on all 4 cylinders

The number seems to vary, but should be at least higher 100's. The key thing when you do a compression test is that there is no variance between the cylenders. Less than 5% variance and you are golden.
