Default can u fix a crack in the block...HELP

one of my buddies just put in a ITR motor and the block cracked where the driver side mount is at. can that be fixed or is he fucked?

It all depends... if it's load baring at all I don't think it'd be too good an idea to weld it... but if it's just a hole then you could weld it...

OR

You could get that "alumalloy" crap... it's sick all you need is a propane torch... I haven't used it (my buddy has he said it works pretty good) but the commercial is sick... they fill out ALL sorts of crap... they filled up half of a soda can with it and it just pooled cooled and hardened... in the commercial they showed them filling in part of a cracked mount ear but I don't know that I'd trust it....

Do a google search on it... there's lots of stuff on it I just don't have the time to read it now....

Oh yea for sure. That clears anything up with Hondas.

Take it to someone who can weld that particular metal. I believe it is alloy.

It may not be as strong as before, but it should hold depending on how well he can penetrate a weld.
