Can springs be upside down?
Sorry for such a question, but i was notcing today that my front springs are on upside down (or so it appears). all the labeling is upside down on them, as opposed to the rear where the labeling is all right side up. does it matter which way they are installed? i haven't had any problems (yet), i'm just double checking. thanks.
Are they coilovers or lowering springs?
If they are lowering springs you have to reverse them. If they are coilovers, you're OK, because they are the same throughout and flat on the upper and lower part of the coil.

If you have coil springs, then yes it does matter.
The springs have a flat seat on top and an offset seat on the bottom. If you put them in upside down, the spring will be crooked. I don't even know how you would get them to properly line up with the spring hat if they were upside down....it's pretty hard for that to happen.
