I'm looking for a thread about a starting problem with 3rd gen integs....it's about a weird problem that only happens sometimes, the engine turns over and attempts to start but doesn't....it sometimes stutters after attempting to start (like it's starts and it's choking to death and dies) and sometimes it just keeps on cranking, turning over and over....but if you turn off the car take out the key and try again it starts up normally....it sometimes takes more than a second try too, like a 5th try…once it wouldn’t start up at all and was killing a battery so I left it over night and tried again the next day and started up 1st try like nothings wrong….

anyways in the thread it talks about that same problem and a possible solution....I remember the solution but not entirely....it's something about a sensor or relay underneath the dash somewhere....don’t remember exactly where but I thinks it's underneath the steering wheel...anyways the sensor or relay supposably checks for vacuum leaks or something like that and wont let the car start if there’s a leak....over time the pins of the sensor/relay tends to corrodes/break off/**** up or something and needs to be replace.....I remember there ways a guy who mention in the thread that he tried to weld the pins back on if that helps....I think is something like EGR, EFI, E something sensor/relay....
