Default 1.7 gsr block..question..

I have a 1.7 gsr block from a 93 gsr laying around, I was thinking of building it up for my next turbo setup but I wanted to know if it was worth it? some people say it is the same as a b16 block but I'm not sure..any opinions or facts about it? I was thinking of resleeving to 84mm, pistons, rods, bearings..Or should I just go with a ls or 1.8 gsr block?

well, the more displacement the better...
the b17 block is the same as a b16, but stroked; great block

go for the taller deck for more displacement...Get a 1.8 block if you want that little extra oomph!

for a faster street car build a ls or gsr bottom end, torque gains from these make it faster even with the same hp

If u want to be sneaky stick a stroker kit in that B17 bottem end

The GSR has 11 more ft-lb torque than the B17A - 128ft-lb vs 117ft-lb.
