can I do this?
I am getting really sick of the fact that I can't find a distributor for my 1st gen b16. So I was thinking, could I use a head from a OBDI B16.. thus using it's distirbutor as well? are there enough differences such that it would cause major pain?
thanks,

it will not work
the first gen b16 is obd0
the second gen b16 is obd1
all you need is an obd0 dist. your stock one should work (not sure on this, dont play with older civics much)

right I am aware of the OBD differences... I was actually more worried about the physical dimensions and the water/oil holes. I was thinking I could hack the wiring hehe.
for some weird reason, there are no USDM distributors that will bolt on. I could hack the distributor from my D16, but that means I'd have to hold it down with only two of the three legs... kinda scary for me.
