I have a chipped PR3 ecu. I'm going to be doing some more serious mods to my car, and was planning on having a new custom chip made for my setup. However, my good friend has a rom burner and a shop near me will rent their wideband 02. Here are my questions.

1. Can I use an editor to create my own map until I get a good tune? Which editor will work for this?

2. Are there any requirements beyond what I have mentioned?

There is much to learn...

Turboedit is what you need, and with the wideband, you're pretty much set.

Thanks for the info. I was just uncertain about what kind of editor I need. Because for instance the hondata editor says it must be used with the s200 and datalogger (???) AND it's like $200.

But, with a wideband, chipped ECU, burner, and editor, I should have no problem getting a good tune on my car?
