I jsut had my new axles installed and rotors and 30minutes down the freeway and my car starts to veer left a little, then really hard and smoke starts coming from under. The car started shaking and I pulled over and I checked and my outer driver's side CV boot came loose and all the grease was everywhere. But then I tried to get in gear and the car wouldn't go anywhere. I mean it shifts into all gears, but then it doesn't engage or something.
Damn this car. Any ideas?????

what happend was the the axle shaft for your power wheel came out of the tranny. Replace the cv boot and push the axle back into the tranny... it has happenend to me before to worry not a big problem.
