Maybe you all could provide some insight into this problem. I have a 92 hatch with a b18c1 and a JDM GSR Tranny. I have been having a clunking sound from the car when I turn and the car tends to buck a little bit. The sound is quite annoying to say the least. Is this the CV jionts? I did blow a CV boot, so I am going to replace the axles on both sides just for safety. However I was wondering if I should I do the CV the Half shaft assembly on both sides too?? I am a bit confused between the difference. If someone can help it would be greatly apperciated. Thanks so much, if anything is unclear I will be glad to give more details.

If the CV boot is blown, chances are the joint is shot or will be soon. It would be easiest to replace that entire axle if possible. There's really no need to change the other axle unless the joints/boots are bad on it.

you might be getting some axle bind...what axles did you use with your swap? have you looked at your boots to chk for leaks?

What is axle bind? Sounds interesting. The shop that did the swap put the axles in, but I am going to put new ones in. So you think that will help?

One other thing, I should be using GSR axles if the motor is in a 92 hatch correct?
