Depends on what do you mean by saving it. What are you trying to do with it?

 

tryin to make it run...rebuild.... i dont want to discard it unless it cant be saved.

 

it would cost you a decent amount of money, not easy if thats what your asking, frm is about 100 a cylinder

 

if you have the budget sleeve and hone with forged pistons...

 

Yeah, I was going to recommend sleeving. Then some Endyn pistons

Damn!!!!!, GE only charges $180 for the whole block. That is IF it is still good enough.

 

180 for the bore and coat? seems oddly cheap to me

 

that block is beyond bore and hone and needs to be sleeved. i do not suggest trying to recoat the block with some frm spray its not Worth it.
