Hi my friend has posted on other forums but no one has responded to him... so i thought y not ask here.. since there are quite a few nissan guys on this board... well anywho... my friend has a 200SX SE-R(sr20DE) and we just went to the track not too long ago and car was running strong.. he pulled a 15.2 that day.. but the last few runs he did right after redline when he would push his clutch in at the end of the run the car would die out...And he can keep it running by feathering the gas, or puting it in 5th gear and slowing down to and idle with the clutch out.
So far he has

reground the maf sensor
cleaned the TB
cleaned the iac
check connection and fuses

now wehn hes driving, some times the rpm's will drop to around 200 and bounce up to the regular idle after a bit, but not all of the time it will still just as often as it will stay running.

so if anyone can help plz do

 

anyone? ive heard the EGR valve can cause this problem..what do you guys think?

 

EGR's are only supposed to open at light load and off idle,so Im thinking a bad or sticking EGR could also cause it to stall.

 

he says it happens more when he goes at it and brings it up a bit.. but he says it does happen at normal driving as well.. i think its when he presses the clutch in
