Default Cams or underdrive pulley???

I have 500 to spend, and can't afford both, so should I go with the cam or the unorthodox SS pulley... eventually a port/polish milled head job... what is the best bet for the money, and the p&p has to wait... Oh and which cam would anyone recommend??? if there is any knowledge of the 2001 EX civic

finding cams that will make you happy for $500 is diffucult, get the pulley and a flywheel for $500. You will enter the power band quicker, which will inturn let you apply horsepower to the ground sooner, therefore making you accellerate quicker.

I just learned from my recent blown engine, that is not wise to go with an underdrive pulley especially at high rpms. It isn't balanced with your crank and throw it off balance and cause your bottom end to go and possibly take the rest of the engine with it like what happened to me.. Go with undedrive pulleys from AEM on the alternator and power steering.

Mista knows (from experience) about this......and I'm going to agree with him. But hey, if you like replacing bearings, then by-all-means go ahead with your purchase.
