cams and emissions?
will aftermarket cams on a sohc pass emissions. if so, which cams. i am looking at zex or similar. nothing too wild, just something on the street.

You'll likely get away with some mild cams. It will depend on the tuning of the car as well. If you could cause the car to run lean that day... 
Also cams are relatively easy to swap, if you get my drift. Just be stock on testing day.
