camber kits
I know this might be a dumb question but. I will be lowering my civic around 3 inches and when i install a camber kit how do you get it aligned (most places around wont align a car thats been lowered) and i always thought that the degrees was done by a computer when measured.
thanks
thanks
what camber kit? if it's a camber kit that has easy access to the ***** to adjust the camber, then most shops will do it even if the car is lowered... yeah they use lasers to get the exact measurements in degrees to see how far off and they'll adjust it from there..
most any place will do a alignment, i just got one and my car is lowered. the only way they wont do it is if your car is too low to get up the ramps and on to the lift, the ramps are kind of steep.

you just have to find a shop that will do it or one that has a hole in the ground you can drive over instead of the lifts.
I have to drive all the way across town to this one specific action gator tire, they are the only people who will do lowered cars and they even tell you right away they will not offer a warranty because they might not be able to get it back to factory specs. My car isn't 3" lowered but they always do get it to the factory specs so no big deal even so, anything they can do to make the camber better is good.
Just a fyi, it is usually the toe on the car that will eat away the insides of your tires, not the camber!! My toe was off like 4 degrees, I went through tires in like a month.
