Icon2 Cam & Valvespring Advice

I have a '92 Prelude with H22A engine. I want to do some mods. Are Brian Crower Cams (BC0032) & Brian Crower Valvesprings Ti (BC0030) any good?

Are they a good brand for doing n/a mods on H22A engine. I plan on doing my cams, valvesprings, Skunk2 Racing Alpha Series 66mm Throttle Body, Skunk2 Intake Manifold (PRO SERIES) Silver, extractors, heat wrap and GReddy e-Manage Blue Piggy-back Engine Management Control.

I'm asking if they're good, because they seem to be reasonably priced.

I'm not trying to build a monster, but might throw on a turbo kit. I don't plan on boosting over 8 - 10 psi (10 psi max). The car is for everyday use.

I'm just trying to build something decent, something a little better, a little extra speed, but strong to take 10 psi with original pistons (high compression), to go with my car's look. I have been told that I can bolt on a turbo kit, my engine will work stock @ around 8 psi with no problems or fear of breaking anything.

PSI doesn't mean anything. Don't know why people keep saying stuff like "8-10 PSI". Horsepower/Torque is the goal. Not PSI. Find out how much power your engine internals can take in stock form before you go planning on building the head when it isn't needed. You might learn that the head is just fine for the power you want to make.

Ok, my engine puts out about 187 hp stock. By adding the mods I mentioned before, wouldn't that increase my hp/speed output of my engine?

As you can tell by now I'm noob to this stuff, & trying to learn.

But as you mentioned about how much hp my engine can take stock, how would I be able to find that out?

cams are directly related to your manifold and turbo setup.

Titanium retainers wear out over time because they are soft i would recommend the brian crower chromoly retainers and for cams skunk 2 pro 1 are perfect for turbo setups
