hello Honda tech fellow users.. so I have a 90 crx si with a d15 block y8 head(vtec) y8 intake manifold and a gsr throttle body. now for some reason the car keeps turning off on me it bogs and a buddy of mine that kinda know his Honda stuff told me it was the throttle that keeps making it bog and idle a lil high. so I decided to ask u guys here since Im pretty sure you all know what your talking about. know I need to get this car running in under a week(tired of getting rides from friends and family) so could you guys please help me out. I would really appreciate it? thanks Honda tech

 

do you have a engine light on?

have you tried adjusting the idle air control screw?

how is the timing?

when was your last tune up?

 

I had a problem with boging and idle surge on my d15b2, turns out it was just my TPS sensor, Im running mine unplugged for now until i get a new one but it runs fine this way, idles fine and no more boging. Hope this helps
