Default Re: Cam swap (turboHX)

No. The HX even though it is VTEC is actually VTEC-E which stands for Efficiency.

It has only two intake cam lobes and when VTEC is engaged both the intake valves follow the higher intake lobe.

BTW, with an Intake you will match the power of a stock EX.
Adding an EX tranny will make you faster than most EX's.....your weight gives you a serious advantage.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention your torque curve is better.

Default Re: Cam swap (Spade)

my problem is this, I have a turbo (t3/t4) setup and I'm only getting 180hp out or the motor. I was told that the cam is the culprit, I want to get atleast 230-250 whp and I think if i change the cam i can achieve that. Therefore I need a performance cam for my motor any IDIAs
