Cam shaft question please help !

Default Cam shaft question please help !

I am getting my valve train soon but not sure what to get its either Skunk2 stage 2 or crower Stage 2. My one concern is my car is daliy driven and I take it everywhere, is stage 2 to much for this kind of use or should I just get stage one they the same price so i figuered why not get two but not to sure on the daily use part.

If you are running a minimum amount of mods, go Stage 1. If you have done major mods (ie. high compression pistons, JDM style header and exhaust, big bore throttle body, stand alone fuel management system, beefier connecting rods,etc.) and plan on revving up to 9,000 rpm's or so, the Stage 2's would be a better choice. Just don't expect to bolt the Stage 2's on a basically stock motor and expect mad power. Good luck. By the way, I am running the Stage 2's in my engine, and they kick ***!

Stage 1s seem to make some decent power on b16s but for a b18 I'd really recommend heading straight for the 2s.
