My 1992 civic cx today was not able to start. The car would crank easily and spark was good. A mechanic got to my car and said it may be the cam sensor. I tried to start it again without doing anything and it started. My car does this randomly and more often then before. Can anyone tell me what a cam sensor is and if this is a serious problem. Also if anyone has any ideas to what is wrong, feel free to give me some advice, thanks

I don't have a clue on the cam sensor. Sounds like you may have a bad main relay.

 

sorry i dont know too much about engine detail, please explain briefly what a main relay is. thanks
