I have a b16a and the cam seals poped out twice in two months (cam gears side).Is there any reason why this would happen? Is there anything i can do to cure this problem?

it pops out??... weird man are you sure your installing them right?? lol i always use hondabond over them when i install that stuff so it is sealed properly..

 

Not installed right would be my guess. If you get them all the way in there flush, then they shouldn't come out.

 

The dude that works on my car is a honda mechanic. He's not sure why they keep popen out? I changed the pcv,and i'm going too try a new crankcase filter.
Anymore input out there?

 

honda mech's do make mistakes also... cause i work for honda and i know i've made mistakes so have him check over his work no one is perfect... tell him " hondabond is the *****! "

 

I've seen this problem on accords. Too much crankcase pressure and the balance shaft seal pops out. For the accords they have a retainer that you can install to prevent it. You dont have an accord though, so i dont know. Too much pressure is my guess.

 

Is hondabond like locktight? I've never heard of it.

 

dude if a honda mech. is working on your car he will know what hondabond is... its the ****! lol
