Default cam journal scoring

I bought a b16 head online and got screwed.
Im pretty sure i know the answear but this head is no longer useable is it?
Its just this oen thts bad for the most part, I think from laying around, not damaged while running.
This blows

A few dings and dents are not going to ruin the head,It does suck but it will still run fine.Some fine wet and dry sandpaper (500 or finer) wrapped around a socket will remove the high spots.As long as the cam will freely turn by hand you will be OK.

ok thank you. You recommend polishing of some sort after sanding? maybe a dremel with polishing wheel?

i dont think I'd even sand that much. maybe a bit with 1000-2000grit and then some Rubbing compoung.
