Default Cam gear Settings affect Valve Adjustment Settings

my cam gears are currently set to intake +2 ,exhaust -2 , will this mess anything up, when i go to adjust my valves later on this evening? or do i have to reset the cam gears back to 0,0, before i adjust the valves. thanks for the help.

yes, they need to be set to 0 first. the cam gear changes effect the valve clearance and they must tuned at stock for efficient tuning.
