cam gear installation
well you can do it two ways, either by taking the cam off completely or leaving it on the head. a good tool to have is a compressed impact gun to shoot the 14mm bolt off. because if you try to take it off with a regular socket and wrench on the head, you might turn the whole cam and risk bending the valves.
1. Take off Valve cover and plastic cam cover
2. Loosen Timing belt Tensioner and remove belt
3 (You can either change it on the head or take the entire cam off the head, thats up to you) take off the 14mm bolts on both cam gears
4. Remove the cam but do not lose the pin inside either of the cams.
5. Make sure your new adj cam gear is set to 0,0 (stock for now) and is tightened so it doesnt slip
6. Place the in on the cam and slide the cam gear in. make sure the pin is not backwards
7. Place the bolt back in and tighten it with the impact gun or socket/wrench
8. Put the timing belt on and put it on TDC and set timing
9 Tighten timing tensioner
10. Put valve cover and plastic cover back on
