I will try to find the thread that mentions: Max power on the dyno is NOT the same as the effecient quasi-max power achieved with degreeing cams. My understanding is that the max power achieved on the dyno by adjusting the cam gears is only a single HP number achieved. As opposed to degreeing which will result in maximum horsepower across the entire power band.
