if you're going to get it dyno'd anyway i don't see the point in spending $300 on one unless you're checking p2v or v2v clearances

You should always check P2v and V2v when building a high dollar, high horse power engine.

but it would save time on the dyno.
and in my case it helped to set correct timing sinc ei will have to drive about 60 miles to the tuner id rather do as much as i can before driving it.

i do personally think that the extra TDC dial gauge is not necessary.

you only find the TDC once and then you dont really need it. if they could sell a kit with only 2 dial gauges it probably be more popular.and affordable

I've thought about selling it with only one...I just dont like confusing people with too many options, sometimes that creates more work

or maybe a piston stop instead of tdc dial gauge. because i spent 98 dollars on summit racing kit but wasnt too happy about it.
if it was just a bit cheaper i would spend the extra few bucks on your kit, but i was already past my budget so had to go with a cheaper one...

but be realistic, most of us will only use it once or twice, and its kinda hard to justify spending over 200 dollars on a tool you only use once or twice( if that). how much does that gauge cost alone?

its only one more option, can be named DIY cam degree kit or something like that.

Xenocron, leave the kits how they are, they work perfect.
