Would a B20 throttle body with all sensors on it fit a 96B18C1
would a b20 Throttle work on a 96 B18C1 and dealing with other issues and need some advise on if I need to change anything that’s not right.
I am currently having a tps issue when Im driving seems to only do it when its hot out cars at operating temp not overheating or anything running a skunk2 alpha half rad with fan, when its hot out car jerks a little when casually driving and not stomping on it, throws code 7 and code 20, using a oBD1 chipped P28 ecu with basemap but tuned a little aggressive vtec kicking in to 4800 ends around 8000-8200, first gen skunk 2 intake mani, Im using the throttle body that came on the butterfly flapped one idk if that is good or not if not please correct me on which I should get, engine is swapped into a non vtec body 2000 EK, coupe, with a 99/00 SIR engine harness with OBD2B jumper to OBD1 let me know what I can do or if that is proper and if a b20 throttle body work? Please PM me if preferred or wanted

Code 7 - TPS
Code - 20 ELD
Sounds like a wiring issue possibly, is your GSR USDM or JDM ?
The b20 tb is going to be much smaller than a GSR, at least the one that came on my JDM b20B was smaller than the TB on my 95 LS
You can also move the tps from the B20 TB to the gsr TB if needed, but with using a jumper harness I would check the wiring first.
For the code 20 that is usually alternator related
On last thing I noticed, is you have a P28, that will not operate the butterflies on the GSR intake manifold
Code - 20 ELD

and thank you you I will check out my altonator because did have some issue with the original B series couldn’t seem to find the right altonator bracket for my engine since being in a 2000 civic coupe
Vtec kicks in full throttle 4800-8200 half throttle 5500-8200
and the motor is a USDM B18C1 GSr vtec 1996
Engine harnes is in good shape got it out of a 99/00 SIR only thing I didn’t go to pricey on was the jumper end I would be willing to get a better quality just don’t know a brand should get if you can help on that end

Voltmeter test the TPS. Everything plugged in, turn key on but don't start, measure from the center wire to ground. It should be 0.4 volts throttle closed, smoothly increasing to about 4.5 with it wide open. The idle voltage is more important than the WOT.
In some swaps the operation ends up backwards-- a high voltage with throttle closed and low with it open. Naturally that thoroughly confuses the ECU. In that case you have to switch the two outside wires in the plug.
