Default cam adjustment with thicker head gasket...

i have a 1mm toda headgasket on a b16a/jrsc what should i set the timing gears to??

While timing it, I would set everything at TDC even with adjustable cam gears. Put the adjustable cam gears at 0, and just tension up the timing belt making sure things are tensioned at TDC.

From there make the changes for tuning.

I was told by inline pro that no cam gear adjustment is necessary until you go with a 2mm headgasket or thicker.

if you have quite a bit of mods like i/h/e/tb/im you could probably see some gains with adjusting the cams. Like he said earlier, make sure everything is scrate at tdc then tune on dyno.
