Default Cable vs hydraulic tranny

What are the pro's and con's between the cable and hydraulic transmissions? I basically have a del sol shell that i'm going to be dropping a motor into. I have a 91 integra in my backyard with the cable transmission so i'm wondering would i be better off taking that transmission and installing it in my del sol or getting a hydraulic transmission and putting that in? Help is appreciated, flaming is not.

id rather use a hydrolic tranny since it doesnt use cables...shifts faster and much better...with the shift linkage being a solid part instead of running cable lines from the shifter to shift from the tranny..i say buy a hydro tranny and be happy...just my opinion..

If it's going in a race car with a very heavy pressure plate, it would be a good idea to use a hydro tranny because the cable tranny cable would probably break and cable tranny with a very heavy pressure plate loose consistency with engagement due to cable stretch...just my 2 cents.

only the clutch is cable activated, it still uses solid links for shifting gears.
they still suk though, go hydrolic

besides the cable thing 92+cable trannys are internally identical to hydro tranny's
92- cable trannys are weaker and best avoided
