I know what the difference is between the two but lets say i have a JDM B16a tranny converting to a GSR tranny, the jdm b16 tranny is cable and the usdm gsr tranny is hydro, so do i have to do any converting? or does the gsr tranny bolt right on?

it bolts to the engine fine, you need the conversion mount and actuator
