The J-series are the SOHC V6's that come in Accords, Oddysey's, MDX's, Pilots, etc. C-series came in the NSX, they're completely different.
But if your car originally came with a 4-cylinder, stuffing a V6 into it will be extremely difficult/expensive. The V6-equipped Accords from the factory have a totally different front end than the 4-bangers - like a 3 inch longer wheelbase to fit the bigger motor.
If you want more performance, you'd be better off looking to do an H22 swap.
